The creation of companies fell 25.7% in the Comunitat and unpaid increased by 52.7%

The economic crisis continues its toll on business. In July the creation of companies fell by 25.7% in the Comunitat Valenciana. In July last year the number of corporations created amounted to 1197, while in the same month of 2008 fell to 965, which represents a fall of 25.7%. In the case of unpaid bills of trade, the figure increases. The total number of outstanding effects in the Comunitat in July 2007 was 58,846, while in 2008 the effects unpaid amounted to 89,912, this shows an increase of 52.7%.

Los autónomos piden un Plan Renove para el comercio

Ángeles Pelegay tiene una imprenta-copistería, que está acusando el impacto de la crisis por el retraimiento del consumo y dos nuevos focos de problemas: el aumento de impagados y las dificultades para acceder a financiación. “Por un lado, conviene ir al contado y no fiarse de nadie. Por otro, los bancos y cajas no prestan tan alegremente como antes y no avalan nada”, explica. Ángela es, además, la coordinadora nacional de la organización sectorial de comercio de UPTA, y, ante el deterioro de la situación, aconseja una revisión a fondo del modelo de negocio de cada comerciante.
