Check Innovation Program 2009

Aimed at: SME headquarters or establishment in the Comunitat Valenciana.

What is the Innovation Check
 


Is an initiative of the Generalitat Valenciana has the financial support of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), for aid to companies with the goal of providing aid to small businesses with little or limited experience in developing projects innovation, in order:

Encourage innovation in SMEs in the Valencian technology by acquiring knowledge and creating links between business and technology research centers, service providers and technology innovation.
Promote a cultural change in SMEs by raising awareness of innovation as a solution to their problems and making them aware of the added value of incorporating external knowledge to its own innovation processes.

These grants take the form of a CHECK Innovation, worth 6000 euros, will be delivered by the beneficiary companies IMPIVA for recruitment of technical assistance in technological innovation.


  Who can request a check
 


Any SME that has its head office or establishment of production in the Comunitat Valenciana which aided project is located in the territory.

Excluded, explicitly, the companies that have received in the last three fiscal years, de minimis aid scheme worth more than 200,000 euros and those belonging to the sectors identified in paragraph 1 of Article 1 of Regulation (EC) No 1998/2006 on minimis.


  Whom you can hire the technical assistance
 


The partners of this program are the only ones that can accept a check as payment Innovation in technical assistance in technological innovation.

These services should be hired in its entirety with one of the "Centers of Innovation and Technology (CIT) recognized under the Royal Decree 2609/1996 of December 20 (BOE 17.01.1997), previously recorded as IMPIVA ' center technology solutions provider '(hereinafter center provider), according to the relationship which will be available at the Internet address of the IMPIVA: http://www.impiva.es.

 
  Which projects can be
 


It will support the recruitment center with a provider of technical assistance for problem solving and the development of a technological nature, involving the company to incorporate new knowledge needed to innovate in product, production process or service and according to the following types:

Diagnosis technological consist of an analysis of the technological innovation capacity of the company, including an assessment of both human resources and equipment, facilities and organizational system.
Technological applications and technical assistance will consist in the development and application of appropriate technological solutions for action or needs improvements resulting from innovation in the enterprise or conclusions of an earlier diagnosis and to raise competitiveness of the company .

Design process and product improvement
New Materials
Prototype development
Renewable and alternative energies and energy saving and efficiency
Technologies and environmental sustainability
Biotechnology and technologies applied to food, health and comfort
Advanced logistics, transportation and distribution
Validation technology products
Designing products and services for people
Advanced management systems
Advanced communication technologies
Applications in software, may be accepted only expenses relating to software analysis, software design and development of advanced new or substantially modified, with a strong element of technological innovation.

Check the innovation can not be used to cover: web development, licensing for operating systems and software applications, routine tests and standards are not included in consulting projects and EMAS or ISO certifications.

 
  How it works
 

The company sought the help completing the application form, available on the website. deadline for submission IMPIVA the April 2, 2009, at 14 hours.
The President of IMPIVA gives aid to be notified by mail to the company together with the Innovation Check.
The company agreed and / or contracting with a provider, those available on the website of the IMPIVA, the necessary technical assistance.
Once the technical assistance, the center will issue the supplier invoice and report and the company will deliver the Innovation Check as payment for the cost of contracted services (which taxes will be borne by the service in any case by the company) .
The center provider IMPIVA evidence to the performance of the services contracted by the firm, seeking redemption for their monetary value of the Innovation Check before December 17, 2009.
 


  Other Features
 

The beneficiary may not obtain more than one check per year.
If the cost of technical assistance is less than 6000 euros, IMPIVA subsidize that cost only.
Two or more persons may pool their checks to contract with a supplier heart solving a problem of common interest. In this case, each company will make its check in payment for the Innovation contracted technical assistance.
