ITC/4068/2007 The Order of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of 28 December (Official Gazette of 17 January 2008) approved the creation and establishes a new regulatory basis of national awards related to internal trade. The awards have three categories: the National Prize of an honorary councils to rewarding the actions of commercial urban renewal, the National Award for Small Business which aims to reward business development and business modernization through improved technology, association or mergers, and a third National Award for open shopping centers, designed to honor the trade association aimed at promoting open shopping centers (CEC) and the strengthening and development of their management bodies.

The application of the awards for 2009 was held by Resolution of the Ministry of Commerce on 16 February 2009 (BOE of March 3). Having made the selection of prizewinners, the national selection has acted to boost its bid for the award of this Secretary of State for final decision, as stated in the regulatory bases.

By virtue of and pursuant to the provisions of Order ITC/4068/2007 28 December, I resolve:

First. To declare the National Award for municipalities.

City Council award a second prize at the village of St. Nicholas (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria).

Second. Awarded the National Award for Small Business to business Barrojo appliances S. L. of Noja (Cantabria), endowed with 20,000 euros gross.

Give an honorary two runners to Syntagma Cultural Bookstore, El Ejido (Almería) and Safe Kids World BBlandia of Navalcarnero (Madrid).

Third.

National award the Open Shopping Center Merchants Association, Industrial & Professional Historic Center of Teruel, endowed with 20,000 euros gross.

Accesits award two honorary character to the Association of Granada Center and the Association of Trade Promotion Ontinyent (Valencia).

Fourth. He dismissed the other candidates.
