Castellón: The price of school premises falls 60% PDF Print E-mail
The high rentals drop makes the opening of new stores .. Prices lower than many business owners asked for the car have passed into history. At least for now. The closure of many establishments in the center of the capital has caused many owners have been induced to lower their financial claims and that has led, almost automatically, increasing the number of new stores that have opened or are to do in the coming months.

The fall in rents has been swift and dramatic as this newspaper have assured all the sources often exceeds 60%. "A couple of years ago I asked the price of a room of about 100 meters on the streets of Castellon Alloza. Then they asked me 4,000 euros a month for rent. Currently, the price is 1,500, "says the owner of a small downtown shop.

What explains this business is just one example of the speed at which prices have fallen, although there are many more. "Before the crisis it was normal for the landlord to require about 4,000 euros for a low of about 150 meters. Now entrepreneurs have it a little easier because the money they pay is more affordable, "says another trader who has just moved to the streets of the capital Alloza.

The estate also note the strong downward trend. "What they asked two years ago were terrible things. Many owners of premises have been reversed and prices have dropped up to 65% for fear of being left with empty premises. At the moment there is no one to pay 4,500 euros to rent, "says the owner of a leading agency Castellón 25 years in the industry.

The decline in prices is leading to open new stores in the downtown streets. "It is true that the crisis have closed some facilities, but so is that with lower rents have encouraged many entrepreneurs to start their own businesses," they say in real estate.

But what about the rest of municipalities in the province? Traders and the estate say there is not as exaggerated fall, as the bulk of traders is also the owner of the business premises. "In the Vall d'Uixó most are business owners under" describes Manuel hand, Federem
